The BARN collection from the Homecoming series was inspired by the often overlooked agriculture structures that are littered across the countryside. These simple, angular shapes that create a strong silhouette on the side of road are often constructed from several different cheap materials, layering and stacking and slatted together.
The construction of the BARN jewellery mimics this - individually textured bars of silver have been stacked and soldered together before being filed and carved to shape them. They are then moulded and cast in recycled silver.
